I’m Mike D.

This site is generally where I write about whatever interests me at the moment. I have many hobbies. Some people would say too many, but I like learning new things. Sometimes the hobbies grow up and get their own sites, but they all started here at some point. So this website is my online scrapbook of: my writing, my baking, my garden, my reading, my running, my web links, my photography, my family.

This is my story so far…

1977 – born

1978 – ate a Nerf ball during the blizzard of ’78

1986 – attended game 5 of the World Series

1988 – firmly believed I would make it to the NBA

1990 – started playing the trumpet

1992 – read Ender’s Game for the first time

1995 – won a state championship in basketball, more realistic about NBA prospects

1999 – graduated to the real world

2004 – married! (also, Sox win!)

2007 – Dad

2010 – author
