Once Upon a Time

One of the many problems I have with PowerPoint and its use in the workplace, the foremost is probably that for presentations it has become far more of a crutch than a useful tool. If you are going to give a presentation, you need to tell a story.

Infographica

Edward Tufte writing about Megan Jaegerman and the news graphics in the NYTs. I find the Times easily has the most interesting infographics out there, newsprint or online. Given the decaying state of newspapers, I can’t imagine many other papers maintaining or hiring folks for such a specialized role.
